Job summary

Broadcom Inc. seeks a focused test engineer for our software team, validating PCIe switch solutions end-to-end. You will design and execute test plans, automate cases in Python, and work with global teams to ensure product quality across configurations.

A strong PCIe background and system-level thinking are essential. Experience with AI/ML benchmarks and GPU-related validation is a plus. The role offers a competitive base salary with annual bonus potential and Broadcom equity programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering with hands-on test experience.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills; excellent communication.
• Self-starter with a proactive, break-feature mindset.
• Solid PCIe experience including Config Space, Link Training, AER/DPC.
• Python tooling for network/system-level testing; GPU/AI familiarity a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create and review test scenarios, cases, and automation reviews.
• Execute tests and coordinate with multi-site teams of developers/testers.
• Review User Documentation for accuracy of product functionality.
• Prioritize and manage multiple tasks, projects, and releases.
