Job summary

Broadcom Inc. is seeking a focused test engineer to validate our PCIe switch solutions. You will design test scenarios, execute tests, and collaborate across multi-site teams to ensure product quality and performance. A strong grasp of PCIe Gen3+ and hands-on Python scripting is required.

The role emphasizes system-level PCIe understanding, test automation, and the ability to prioritize multiple releases while maintaining rigorous documentation and traceability.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters in Engineering with at least 2 years of hands-on test experience.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills.
• Clear communication and self-starting mindset.
• Experience with PCIe testing including Config Space, Link training, AER/DPC, and related areas.
• Automation scripting in Python for network/system testing.

Responsibilities

• Create and review test scenarios, cases, and automation reviews for design and specs.
• Execute tests and collaborate with multi-site teams.
• Review documentation to ensure accurate product functionality.
• Prioritize and manage multiple tasks, projects, and releases.
