Atlas seeks a Geotechnical and Construction Materials Inspector to join our experienced team and perform IBC inspections, concrete testing, and field QA/QC on large infrastructure projects. Travel to project sites in Texas, Mississippi, and South Carolina is required; you will read drawings, document observations, and communicate findings to engineers and clients.

Qualifications

• Must have an active ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician, Grade I certification.
• At least one of PCI Level I or II, Engineer-in-Training (EIT), or ICC Reinforced/Prestressed Concrete certifications.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Two+ years of concrete testing or construction materials testing experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel to project locations in Texas, Mississippi, and South Carolina.
• On-site work with potential 50–60 hour weeks when not near a project site.
• Flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends.

Responsabilités

• Perform IBC Chapter 17 special inspections of precast, prestressed, and reinforced concrete products and structures.
• Conduct concrete sampling, field testing, and quality control activities per project requirements.
• Read construction drawings, specifications, and approved inspection procedures.
• Document daily observations, test results, and supporting information; submit reports electronically.
• Communicate field conditions and inspection findings to project managers, engineers, contractors, and clients.
