Massachusetts College of Art and Design (MassArt) is seeking a Student Photographer + Content Creator to document in-person PCE classes and capture authentic student experiences through photography, video, and brief interviews. You will shoot classes, edit selections within 24 hours, and provide content for email campaigns and social media.

This 0-5 hour per week role pays $15/hour. Eligibility to work in the US is required; MassArt does not sponsor employment-based visas for this position.

Qualifications

  • Wamiliar with photographing people in classroom settings.
  • Ability to edit and deliver photos quickly for campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Attend PCE in-person classes to photograph students and faculty.
  • Capture candid moments while minimizing disruption.
  • Occasionally direct students for posed shots or short interviews.
  • Record short-form video content of classes and student/faculty interactions.
  • Edit and deliver selections from each shoot, ideally within 24 hours.
  • Provide photo, video, and interview content for PCE campaigns and social media.

Job Description:

Student Photographer + Content Creator

Position Description: The Student Photographer + Content Creator supports Professional and Continuing Education (PCE) marketing efforts by documenting in-person classes and capturing authentic student experiences through digital photography, video, and interviews.

Requirements:
  • Attend PCE in-person classes to photograph students as they work, faculty as they teach, and student work.
  • Capture candid, natural moments while being respectful of the classroom environment and minimizing disruption.
  • Occasionally ask students to pose or participate in photos when appropriate.
  • Occasionally interview students when appropriate and collect short quotes about their experiences in PCE programs and classes.
  • Capture and edit short-form video content of students working, faculty teaching, and/or students and faculty talking about their experience.
  • Edit and deliver a selection of photographs from each shoot, ideally within 24 hours.
  • Provide photo, video, and interview content for PCE email campaigns, social media, Reels, and other marketing materials.

Hours & Compensation: Estimated 0-5 hours per week at $15/hour.
