Job summary

Cisco Maynard is seeking an onsite Operations Test Engineer to lead end-to-end test solutions for PCBA subassemblies in a high-visibility manufacturing setting.

You will collaborate with Hardware and Mechanical Engineering, develop automated tests using LabVIEW and Python, and train contract manufacturers during deployment of new products. A tech degree and 2+ years in manufacturing are required.

Qualifications

• 2- or 4-year technology degree in Electronics, Engineering Technology, or related field.
• At least two years of manufacturing industry experience.
• Experience troubleshooting PCBA assemblies and thermal/mechanical fixturing.
• Familiarity with rack-mounted test equipment and communication protocols (I2C, SPI).
• Experience with debugging tools such as DVMs and oscilloscopes.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end development and deployment of test solutions for PCBA subassembly hardware from initial fixturing to handoff to sustaining/contract manufacturer.
• Collaborate with Hardware and Mechanical Engineering to resolve design issues for product/evaluation hardware.
• Create and optimize automated test scripts using LabVIEW and Python.
• Participate in regression testing of firmware and host software validation.
• Troubleshoot sub-assemblies, evaluation boards, fixtures to ensure readiness for new platforms.
• Generate test instructions and fixturing concepts; train contract manufacturers during deployment.
