Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking an Operations Test Engineer to lead end-to-end test development for PCBA subassemblies. You will partner with Hardware and Mechanical Engineering to diagnose issues, and build automated test scripts in LabVIEW or Python to support test automation.

You will also participate in firmware regression testing and train contract manufacturers during product deployment, ensuring readiness for new platforms and scalable test flows.

Qualifications

• 2- or 4-year degree in electronics or engineering technology.
• At least two years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Experience with PCBA testing and thermal/mechanical fixturing.
• Familiarity with rack-mounted test equipment and protocols like I2C/SPI.
• Experience with debugging tools such as DVMs and oscilloscopes.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end development and deployment of test solutions for PCBA subassemblies.
• Collaborate with Hardware and Mechanical Engineering to resolve design issues.
• Develop automated test scripts using LabVIEW or Python.
• Perform regression testing of firmware and host software validation.
• Troubleshoot sub-assemblies, evaluation boards, fixtures for new platforms.
• Create test instructions and train contract manufacturing during deployment.
