Job summary

Cisco in Maynard, MA is seeking an Operations Test Engineer to own end-to-end test development for PCBA subassemblies and deploy testing strategies across manufacturing partners. You will collaborate with Hardware and Mechanical teams to resolve issues and improve test coverage.

Candidates should have 2–4 years in manufacturing tech, experience with PCBA testing, and proficiency in LabVIEW or Python. On-site role with strong growth in optical transceiver manufacturing.

Qualifications

• 2- to 4-year technology degree in Electronics or related field.
• At least two years of relevant manufacturing industry experience.
• Experience troubleshooting PCBA assemblies and fixturing.
• Familiarity with I2C and SPI automated test protocols.
• Proficient with DVMs and oscilloscopes for debugging.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end development and deployment of test solutions for PCBA subassemblies.
• Collaborate with Hardware and Mechanical teams to resolve design issues.
• Use LabVIEW and Python to create/optimize automated test scripts.
• Participate in firmware regression testing and host software evaluation.
• Troubleshoot sub-assemblies, evaluation boards, and fixtures for new platforms.
• Generate test instructions and train contract manufacturers during deployment.
