Job summary

SpaceX in Redmond, WA is hiring a Starlink Production Technician - PCBA to operate PCB assembly equipment, conduct tests, and document failures for quality improvements. The role requires reading drawings, soldering capability, and the ability to lift 25 lbs, with flexible shifts including overtime and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalency certificate.
• 1+ years of hands-on work experience with electromechanical tools, assembly, or testing.
• Willing to work all shifts, overtime and weekend as needed.
• Able to lift up to 25lbs and stand for long periods.
• Experience reading layouts and schematics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operated PCB assembly machines to manufacture circuit boards including SMT placement and reflow soldering.
• Conducted thermal and functional testing of electronic hardware from setup to teardown.
• Documented failure modes and used data analysis to drive quality improvements.
• Maintained and calibrated production equipment via preventive maintenance.
• Managed schedule priorities and executed tasks independently to meet deadlines.
• Performed component kitting and precise measurement to support assembly.
