Job summary

Ultimate Staffing is seeking a Process Engineer for an electronics manufacturing client in Fort Worth. This full-time, direct-hire role is 100% onsite at the Fort Worth facility.

The ideal candidate will maintain FPYR, OEE and scrap performance in PCBA processes and provide technical support to production. Responsibilities include setting up SMT and DIP machines, process optimization, yield reporting, and training staff.

Qualifications

  • BS in electrical or mechanical engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on engineering in product/design/manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of PCBA processes, equipment, and industry standards (ISO 9001, IPC).
  • Strong command of statistical tools; SPC/DOE experience valued.
  • Experience managing NPI projects from pilot to mass production.

Responsibilities

  • Sets up and programs SMT and DIP machines for new products up to mass production.
  • Conducts process optimization, time studies and defect analysis.
  • Generates daily and weekly yield and OEE performance reports.
  • Presents daily/weekly reports to management (Yield, OEE, Scrap).
  • Trains engineers and technicians in SMT and DIP processes.
  • Provides process documentation and operating instructions for SMT/DIP.
  • Collects data, writes reports, and presents findings to management.
  • Runs risk assessments of processes and qualification of fixtures/materials/products.
