Job summary

Everpure in Santa Clara is seeking a Product Engineer specializing in PCBA manufacturing and DFM to drive end-to-end manufacturability from design to high-volume production for data center hardware.

You will partner with Hardware Design, Mechanical Engineering, Test teams, and global contract manufacturers to establish high-yield processes and safeguard signal integrity across complex stack-ups.

Qualifications

• Expertise in PCB fabrication, stack-up design, impedance control and transmission-line behavior.
• Deep knowledge of SMT/PCBA manufacturing, soldering, reflow, and IPC standards.
• Experience reviewing Gerber files, CAM data, and making DFM/ DFA/ DFT improvements.
• Proficiency with SPI, AOI, X-ray, ICT, and test strategies for yield improvement.
• Ability to lead pilot builds, qualify suppliers, and solve production challenges.

Responsibilities

• Direct PCB material selection and stack-up optimization with hardware teams and suppliers.
• Define and qualify SMT and mixed-technology assembly processes with CM partners.
• Drive defect screening and testability strategies to ensure production readiness.
• Lead BOM reviews and PLM data management to accelerate NPI to high-volume manufacturing.
