Astronova Inc. in Rhode Island is seeking a PCB Electronics Technician for a full-time, 1st shift role with competitive benefits. You will perform functional testing per board procedures and conduct board-level troubleshooting to identify defects, using various test and analysis equipment to inspect and test boards and perform root cause analysis on failures.

Required qualifications include an A.S. or B.S. in a related field or equivalent experience, experience with SMT and through-hole

Qualifications

• AS or BS degree in electrical engineering, electronics, or technical field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience testing, troubleshooting or repairing boards with SMT and through-hole components.
• Experience using scopes and meters.
• Ability to solder and read detailed electronic assembly drawings, schematics and process documents.

Responsibilities

• Test, troubleshoot, and repair low-volume PCB boards to component level using state-of-the-art equipment.
• Test, troubleshoot and repair analog and digital PCBs with SMT and through-hole components.
• Complete test procedures and records using MS Excel; keep detailed defect logs.
• Perform PCB assembly rework.
• Maintain a neat, safe work station.
• Perform other duties as directed.
