Job summary

Kitchen Brains in Stratford, CT seeks a Printed Cricut Board Tech to troubleshoot PCBs down to component level and perform SMT and through-hole component replacements. You will operate diverse test equipment and collaborate with engineering to address failure trends and drive corrective actions.

The role requires strong PCB schematic interpretation, IPC SMT repair experience, and solid communication skills.

Qualifications

• Strong ability to interpret PCB schematics, assembly drawings, test procedures, and work instructions.
• Proficient in electronic circuit troubleshooting using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other diagnostic tools.
• Demonstrated expertise in SMT rework and repair to IPC standards.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and capability to work independently or in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot PCBs down to the component level.
• Replace SMT and through-hole components as needed.
• Set up and operate various test equipment (automatic/manual, in-circuit, functional, bench).
• Identify and track PCB failure trends and work with engineering to implement corrective actions.
• Support transition of new products into production with engineering teams.
• Provide training to operators on test procedures and troubleshooting.
