Kitchen Brains is seeking a Printed Cricut Board Tech in Stratford, CT. The role focuses on troubleshooting and repairing PCBs to component level, using advanced diagnostic tools, and collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure product quality and reliability.

The position requires SMT rework experience to IPC standards, the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment, and a background in electronics.

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret PCB schematics, assembly drawings, test procedures, and work instructions.
• Proficient in electronic circuit troubleshooting using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other diagnostic tools.
• Demonstrated expertise in SMT rework and repair to IPC standards.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Associate’s Degree in Electronics (A.S.E.E.) and a minimum of 2 years’ experience troubleshooting microprocessor‑controlled circuits or 10 years of equivalent hands‑on experience.
• PC Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot PCBs down to the component level.
• Replace SMT and through‑hole components as needed.
• Set up and operate various test equipment.
• Identify PCB failure trends and implement corrective actions.
• Support transition of new products into production with engineering teams.
• Train operators on test procedures and troubleshooting techniques.
