Job summary

Innovative Aerosystems is seeking a Circuit Card Troubleshoot and Repair Technician to diagnose, repair, and test electronic circuit cards and assemblies. This role requires strong technical knowledge, analytical problem-solving, and attention to detail.

The successful candidate will work with schematics, technical documentation, and electronic test equipment to identify faults, perform component-level repairs, and verify that repaired products meet all quality and performance standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electronics Technology or technical education.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing electronic circuits and PCBs at the component level.
• Ability to read schematics, drawings, and technical docs.
• Strong knowledge of analog and digital electronics.
• Proficiency with test equipment (oscilloscopes, meters, function generators).
• Strong soldering/desoldering for SMT and TH components.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analysis, and attention to detail.
• Clear written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and isolate faults on PCBs using test equipment such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
• Perform component-level troubleshooting and repair including ICs, resistors, capacitors, and transistors.
• Use advanced SMT and through-hole soldering/desoldering techniques.
• Carry out circuit card rework and modifications per engineering specs and QA requirements.
• Conduct functional testing of repaired circuit cards to verify operation and performance.
• Operate test fixtures and automated test equipment (ATE).
• Maintain thorough documentation of troubleshooting, repairs, and test results.
• Identify recurring failures and report trends to support corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Quality teams to resolve issues and improve reliability.
• Follow safety procedures, ESD handling, and quality standards.
