Job summary

TTM Technologies, Inc. in the United States seeks a Test Programmer to develop, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical test programs for printed circuit boards.

You will use GCA software and automated test equipment to translate customer data into reliable, production-ready tests. Work closely with Engineering, CAM, Production Control, Quality, and Test Technicians to ensure test programs are accurate, reliable, and available when needed for production.

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret PCB CAD data, netlists, schematics, and manufacturing documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to identify discrepancies between customer data and manufactured PCB requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain electrical test programs using GCA software.
• Create test programs from customer-supplied CAD data, netlists, Gerber files, schematics, and other technical documentation.
• Review PCB designs and manufacturing data to identify potential electrical test issues before production.
• Generate and verify test data, including nets, components, test points, and electrical characteristics.
• Set up and modify test parameters to provide reliable testing while minimizing false failures.
• Debug and troubleshoot test-program problems and determine whether failures are caused by the PCB, test program, fixture, equipment, or other factors.
• Perform program verification and validation before releasing test programs to production.
• Maintain existing test programs when customers make engineering changes or when PCB revisions are released.
• Support prototype, quick-turn, repeat, and production jobs as required.
