Job summary

Aerotek in San Diego, CA is seeking a Tester Operator for the first shift in Sorrento Valley to test assembled PCBs, perform pass/fail tests, and document results. The role requires maintaining the workstation, following 5S and ESD standards, and coordinating with the manufacturing team.

The position is fully onsite with a 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. schedule, offering growth opportunities as the facility expands and converts high-potential staff to full-time roles.

Qualifications

• Quality control and inspection of parts.
• Knowledge of testing processes and procedures.
• Computer literacy and data entry proficiency.
• Experience with printed circuit boards.
• Ability to use hand tools effectively.

Responsibilities

• Test manufactured printed circuit boards using multiple cables.
• Initiate and conduct pass/fail tests.
• Document error codes and complete reports for failed boards.
• Maintain workstation tools and equipment.
• Ensure cleanliness and adhere to 5S, lean manufacturing, and ESD environment controls.
