Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Quality Inspector in Poway, CA for a contract-to-hire 2nd shift role. Final inspection of PCB assemblies will rely on microscopes, halo lights, and precision tools to meet strict quality standards.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, applying GD&T, and performing First Article inspections with AS9102 documentation as needed. Candidates should have 4+ years in manufacturing QA and strong communication in English.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of quality inspection experience in controlled manufacturing.
• Hands-on PCB inspection experience and ability to read engineering drawings.
• Proficient in GD&T and dimensional inspection with measuring tools.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, email, and ERP/QMS data entry.

Responsibilities

• Perform final inspection of PCB assemblies with magnification to verify specifications.
• Inspect BOMs and customer drawings to ensure conformity with standards.
• Apply quality procedures in line with industry standards and internal requirements.
• Read blueprints and schematics to confirm product conformity.
• Verify redlines with proper approvals and dates.
• Execute inline QC, final QC, and IQC as assigned.
• Follow production priorities and test products per work orders.
• Perform First Article inspections and AS9102 documentation when required.
• Use micrometers, calipers, gauges to validate dimensions.
