Job summary

Pioneer Circuits, Inc. is seeking an Assembly SMT Operator in California. You will operate and monitor SMT production equipment, perform hand placement, rework SMT boards, and assemble cables and mechanical PCBs for high-quality assemblies.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of SMT experience, read customer drawings, and understand J-STD-001/IPC-610. Must be able to read SOPs and work instructions and communicate in English. Overtime and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED; 2+ years SMT assembly experience preferred.
• Able to read customer drawings, SOPs and manufacturing travelers.
• Familiar with J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 requirements for electronics.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings, SOPs and requirements for each job.
• Operate and monitor SMT equipment; perform hand placement and rework as needed.
• Inspect assemblies, verify part numbers and ensure quality standards.
• Troubleshoot machines and perform basic repairs; support preventive maintenance.
