Job summary

Intel Corporation is seeking a Supply Chain Engineer to optimize its supply chain and support the production of cutting‑edge technologies. You will develop and implement process engineering and quality improvements across manufacturing, driving efficiency, sustainability and cost‑effectiveness while ensuring manufacturability and supply chain considerations are integrated into design phases.

You will collaborate with product architecture, design, R&D and supplier teams to embed supply chain

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with 6+ years in supply chain engineering or PCB manufacturing; Master’s with 4+ years; PhD with 2+ years.
• Experience in process engineering, supplier management, or supply chain optimization/design.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools, modeling software, or process simulation platforms.
• Familiarity with quality control systems, SPC, and root cause analysis methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Partner with design, R&D, manufacturing to embed supply chain considerations early in design.
• Conduct technology benchmarking, feasibility studies, and ecosystem analyses.
• Develop should-cost models to aid affordability and negotiations.
• Define supplier quality standards and control systems for production efficiency.
• Drive process validation, metrology readiness, and root cause analysis.
• Suggest risk mitigation and alternate sourcing to ensure manufacturing readiness.
• Contribute to IP creation to enhance Intel’s competitive position.
