You will collaborate across product architecture, design, R&D, and supplier partners to embed supply chain considerations early in development, drive cost-competitive improvements, and ensure quality and manufacturability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with 6+ years of hands-on supply chain engineering experience; or Master’s with 4+ years; or PhD with 2+ years.
• Demonstrated expertise in process engineering, supplier management, or supply chain optimization or design.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools, modeling software, or process simulation platforms.
• Familiarity with quality control systems, statistical process control, and root cause analysis methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product architecture, design, R&D, manufacturing, and technology teams to embed supply chain considerations early in design phases.
• Conduct technology benchmarking, feasibility studies, and ecosystem analyses to identify materials, processes, and suppliers.
• Leverage should-cost models to aid in cost negotiations and product affordability decisions.
• Define supplier quality standards, validate processes, and develop control systems for production efficiency and reliability.
• Drive process validation, quality metrology readiness, and root cause analysis for continuous improvement.
• Recommend and implement risk mitigation strategies and alternate sourcing plans for manufacturing readiness.
• Contribute to intellectual property to enhance Intel's competitive position.
