You will collaborate with product architecture, design, R&D, and manufacturing teams to identify materials, processes, and supplier options.

You will develop should-cost models, set supplier quality standards, and lead root-cause analyses to improve yield, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness across PCB manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with 6+ years in supply chain engineering, PCB manufacturing, or related areas; OR a Master's with 4+ years; OR a PhD with 2+ years.
• Experience in process engineering, supplier management, or supply chain optimization or design.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools, modeling software, or process simulation platforms.
• Familiarity with quality control systems, statistical process control, and root cause analysis methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Embed supply chain considerations early in design phases in collaboration with architecture, design, R&D, and manufacturing teams.
• Conduct technology benchmarking, feasibility studies, and ecosystem analyses for materials, processes, and suppliers.
• Develop should-cost models to inform affordability decisions and cost negotiations.
• Define supplier quality standards, validate processes, and develop control systems to ensure production efficiency, yield, and reliability.
• Drive process validation, quality metrology readiness, and root cause analysis to support continuous improvement.
• Recommend and implement risk mitigation strategies and alternate sourcing plans to address supply chain gaps.
• Contribute to intellectual property creation to enhance Intel's competitive position.
