Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a cross-functional Supply Chain professional based in Bastrop, TX, onsite. You will collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to manage material requirements planning, delivery, dock-to-stock coordination, and inventory control for Starlink hardware.

Responsibilities include developing cost-saving strategies, managing supplier RFIs/RFPs, and driving improvements to meet production goals. Strong data skills (Excel/SQL/PowerBI) and PCB/PCBA knowledge are valued.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in purchasing, material or production planning, operations or supply chain management (or 9+ years without degree).
Technical procurement or planning experience with PCB, PCBA, or electrical components.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement sourcing and cost management strategies with suppliers.
Aggregate demand for hardware to support Starlink platforms and enable accurate forecasting.
Serve as supplier interface for RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to run RFX processes and decisions.
Manage costs to meet budgets and forecasts.
Develop should-cost models for competitive analysis.
Ensure supplier readiness for prototypes, ramp, and mass production.
Drive process improvements and cost-saving programs with suppliers.
Present value propositions to executives on contracts and cost reviews.
Build and maintain strong supplier partnerships.
Implement data management tools to monitor supplier performance.
