Valcom is seeking a production associate to operate automated SMT and through-hole machinery in a climate-controlled Roanoke, VA facility. You will run, calibrate, and maintain equipment that places electronic components on printed circuit boards, ensuring quality at every step.

No prior experience is required—we will train you and offer growth opportunities, OT when available, and a $1.00 per hour shift differential on the second shift.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Sharp attention to detail because quality matters.
• Basic English reading to follow written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate SMT and through-hole machines.
• Set up and changeover machines; calibrate settings.
• Inspect boards at each stage to ensure quality.
• Keep machines stocked and perform routine maintenance.
• Troubleshoot issues with the team to maintain production.
