Job summary

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) seeks an Electrical Engineering Intern to support our Printed Circuit Board Team in Pullman, WA. This in-office internship is ideal for a local university student who can work full-time during the summer and part-time during the academic year.

You will gain hands-on PCB-related electrical simulation and analysis experience, contribute to signal integrity and power integrity projects, and help improve engineering workflows and documentation while

Qualifications

• Two or more years of technical coursework in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong proficiency in circuit analysis.
• Experience in programming and script files.
• Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
• Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
• Background check satisfactory to SEL; negative drug test results.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers with signal integrity and power integrity simulations of PCB layouts and interconnects using PCB CAD tools.
• Analyze and interpret simulation results and communicate findings to engineering teams.
