TTM Technologies, Inc. is a leading PCB manufacturer seeking a Process Engineering Technician to support manufacturing, engineering and quality teams at the East Syracuse, NY facility.

The role involves assisting with process elements, testing, data gathering, and documenting updates to procedures while ensuring safety compliance. Responsibilities include monitoring processes, performing measurements, running tests, and aiding engineers with process control and data reporting.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the job.
• Strong math skills, especially statistics.
• Technicians will undergo chemical handling training prior to the start of performing these duties and will actively participate in ongoing hazardous waste and chemical handling training.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assuring manufacturing process is running per procedure or conducting engineering tests
• Monitors manufacturing process or performs failure analysis for engineering or quality
• Takes measurements for process control or gathers measurement data for engineering
• Re-writes documentation to update new practices or writes and prepares reports for engineering or quality
• Responds to data on process control charts or maintains material movement spreadsheets and reports results
• Runs tests through production process line or assists process engineer with evaluating data
• Responsible for all processes within manufacturing and/or support the efforts of engineers
• Perform process control activities such as measuring product or performing tests
• Follow all safety measures when handling chemicals and hazardous waste with regard to use, mixing and disposing chemicals
