Job summary

TTM Technologies, Inc. in East Syracuse, NY is seeking a Process Engineering Technician to assist manufacturing, engineering and quality teams with PCB production processes. You will help with process tests, data collection and documenting updates.

The role requires an Associate's degree in engineering, chemistry, or manufacturing, strong math skills, and the ability to learn quickly. Training on chemical handling and hazardous waste is provided, with safety a priority.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or Manufacturing or equivalent experience.
• Strong math skills, especially statistics.
• Technicians will undergo chemical handling training prior to performing these duties and will actively participate in ongoing hazardous waste and chemical handling training.

Responsibilities

• Ensure manufacturing processes run per procedures or during engineering tests.
• Monitor processes or perform failure analysis for engineering or quality.
• Take measurements for process control or gather data for engineering.
• Rewrite documentation to update new practices or prepare reports for engineering or quality.
• Respond to data on process control charts or maintain material movement spreadsheets and reports.
• Run tests through production line or assist process engineer with evaluating data.
• Support all manufacturing processes and assist engineers as needed.
• Perform process control activities such as measuring products or performing tests.
• Follow all safety measures when handling chemicals and hazardous waste.
