Job summary

TTM Technologies, Inc. in Syracuse, NY is seeking a Mechanical Process Technician to ensure manufacturing processes run per procedure and to support engineering tests on the production line.

The role requires an Associate’s Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or Manufacturing, solid math skills, and the ability to read, write and communicate in English; training on chemical handling and safety is provided.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or near completion in engineering, chemistry or manufacturing.
• Strong math skills, especially statistics.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the manufacturing process runs per procedure or perform engineering tests.
• Monitor processes and analyze data for quality.
• Take measurements for process control and report results.
• Rewrite documentation and prepare reports for engineering or quality.
• Respond to data on process control charts and maintain spreadsheets.
• Run tests on production lines or assist process engineers with data evaluation.
• Follow safety procedures for handling chemicals and hazardous waste.
