Job summary

TTM Technologies, Inc. is seeking a manufacturing technician to operate and inspect components at our Syracuse, NY facility. You will handle machine operations, perform quality checks, and maintain documentation while following safety and production procedures.

The role requires 1–3 years of relevant experience and a high school degree. Opportunities include training, teamwork, and involvement in continuous improvement initiatives, with potential shift-related premiums and an annual bonus where

Qualifications

• Familiar with computer software in order to track data for SPC.
• Ability to perform product inspections.
• Ability to operate complex equipment and be capable of set-up, troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Must demonstrate proficiency in several areas of equipment/product knowledge.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to train other operators and provide some direction.
• Familiar with continuous improvement initiatives such as 5S, Standardized Work, Kanban, JIT, Kaizen, and Poke-Yoke.
• Demonstrate the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
• Ability to work both separately and as part of a team.
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills to detail problems, issues to co-workers and managers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and report on the quality and productivity data for the department.
• Ability to interpret and follow verbal and written work orders.
• Requires proficiency in 50% of the department operations.
• Clean and de-burr various product groups as needed.
• Use various measuring tools as required.
• Maintain clean, safe and orderly work environment.
• Offer suggestions to improve/enhance processes.
• Report any problems, defective materials, questionable conditions or unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Provide high quality and timely service to all internal customers.
• Listen to customer requirements and take prompt, appropriate action that exceeds expectation.
