Job summary

Sanmina Corporation is seeking a Planning Technician in San Jose to support engineering activities from product definition through production. You will plan PCB manufacturing jobs, prepare travelers, and advise CAM operators on tooling needs while communicating with customers.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate's degree in engineering with 0–1 year of related experience and some familiarity with CAD/CAM systems; the role emphasizes planning, DFM reviews, and document/spec summarization.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in an engineering discipline.
• 0-1 year of related Experience
• Experience in planning, product engineering, and tooling in a PCB manufacturing environment and using a CAD/CAM system is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Plan jobs using InPlan and Insolver applications to create production travelers for a PCB manufacturing plan.
• Instruct CAM operators on tooling requirements and communicate with customers.
• Perform DFM (Design for Manufacturability) review on customer designs.
• Perform spec-review and spec-summary on customer documents and industry standards.
