Sanmina Corporation is seeking a Planning Technician in San Jose to support engineering activities from product definition through production. You will plan PCB manufacturing jobs, prepare travelers, and advise CAM operators on tooling needs while communicating with customers.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate's degree in engineering with 0–1 year of related experience and some familiarity with CAD/CAM systems; the role emphasizes planning, DFM reviews, and document/spec summarization.

Summary

The Planning Technician supports engineering activities such as design, modification and manages activities for a specific product or group of products from product definition and planning through production.

What You'll Do

• Plan jobs using InPlan and Insolver applications to create production travelers for a printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturing plan.
• Complete controlled impedance stack-ups, instruct CAM operators on all tooling requirements, answer technical questions from other departments, as well as, effectively communicate with customers.
• Perform DFM (Design for Manufacturability) review on customer designs.
• Perform spec-review and spec-summary on all customer documents and/or industry standards.

The base pay range for this role is between $45,760.00 and $56,160.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
