Job summary

Sierra Circuits, Inc. in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a Planning Engineer to review customer data, perform design rule checks, and produce manufacturing data, programs, and shop travelers for PCB fabrication.

This onsite role requires reading technical drawings, coordinating with process engineers, and planning HDI, Flex, and rigid-flex boards. Strong English communication, detail orientation, and multi-tasking are essential.

Qualifications

• AA degree preferred; strong reading of technical drawings and instructions.
• 3–5 years planning/CAM experience in PCB manufacturing desired.
• Proficiency with PCB software tools (Valor & ProCIM) and ability to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform design rule checks and plan the job from customer data.
• Create array configurations and shop travelers.
• Interpret customer documentation and industry specifications; coordinate with process engineers.
• Maintain throughput and adapt to department backlog and scheduling needs.
• Other duties as assigned.
