Job summary

Pioneer Circuits, Inc. in California seeks a Planning Engineer to translate customer requirements into manufacturing plans for high‑performance PCBs.

You will review orders, drawings, specs, and engineering docs to determine manufacturability, identify risks, develop processes, and produce detailed production travelers for release. Working with CAM Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Sales, and customers, you ensure requirements are implemented from order acceptance through production release,

Qualifications

• Experience translating customer requirements into manufacturable PCB plans.
• Strong knowledge of rigid, flex, and rigid‑flex PCB manufacturing.
• Ability to review orders, drawings, and specifications for manufacturability.
• Proficiency with manufacturing documentation such as travelers and process instructions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze orders and drawings to determine manufacturability and risks.
• Develop manufacturing process plans including routing, materials, and tooling.
• Prepare travelers and process instructions for production release.
• Collaborate with CAM Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Sales to resolve issues.
• Communicate with customers to clarify requirements and propose manufacturable solutions.
