Job summary

Ralliant is seeking a PCB Layout Designer & Engineering Technician in Solon, OH to translate schematics into manufacturable PCB layouts using ECAD tools. You will create multilayer designs, place components, route traces, and optimize stack-ups for DFM/DFT while addressing signal integrity and EMI/EMC concerns.

You will contribute to prototype builds and manufacturing documentation. The role requires an Associate's degree or equivalent in electronics/engineering tech, plus 1+ year PCB layout

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent in electronics/engineering tech or CAD design.
• At least 1 year of PCB layout experience.
• Experience with PCB CAD tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, Mentor/PADS, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Create complex PCB layouts from schematics using approved ECAD tools.
• Develop multilayer PCB designs (HDI, high-density, RF/power).
• Perform component placement, routing, and stack-up implementation; optimize for manufacturability.
• Collaborate with electrical engineers to resolve signal/power integrity, thermal, EMI/EMC issues.
• Generate fabrication, assembly and manufacturing documentation packages.
