Everforth Apex is seeking a PCB Layout Designer to perform PCB layout work using Cadence Allegro on-site at our Fremont, CA facility. The role involves collaborating on schematic reviews, documentation, and maintaining Best Known Methods while contributing to cross-functional design efforts.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of PCB layout experience, with openness to senior designers (15–20+ years) and a background in aerospace, medical, or high-tech PCB applications.

Qualifications

• Minimum: 5 years of PCB layout experience.
• Senior-level designers with 15–20+ years are open to consideration.
• Aerospace, medical or other high-tech PCB experience is acceptable.
• Semiconductor experience is not required but preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform PCB layout using Cadence Allegro (80-90% of role).
• Collaborate on schematic reviews, documentation, and updating BKM (Best Known Methods).
• Occasionally assist with cross-functional design efforts (10–20%).
• Conduct and improve Design Rule Checks (DRC) and other quality control measures to reduce post-release errors.
