Job summary

Fresh Consulting is looking for a Sr. PCB Design Engineer to join a design-led team. You will work with hardware engineers to design schematic and PCB layouts for complex, multi‑layer boards including RF and power sections.

Required are 5+ years in PCB design using Altium and/or Cadence/Allegro, plus knowledge of IPC/IEEE standards. Strong vendor liaison, DFX, and documentation skills are essential. Remote work within the US is supported.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of PCB Design experience using Altium and/or Cadence/Allegro.
• Knowledge of IPC, JEDEC, IEEE, and other electronic standards.
• Experience in creating schematic symbols and PCB footprints in libraries.
• Experience interpreting datasheets and schematics to generate netlists and proper constraints in the layout design.
• HDI Design.
• Rigid, Flex, and Rigid-Flex Design.
• Experience in designing high speed differential circuits, power circuits, analog and RF circuits.
• Experience in PCB layout design constraints for mixed/RF signal, signal impedance control, memory interfaces, power distribution, heat dissipation, and optimization for EMI performance.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Hardware Engineering team to provide Schematic and PCB board designs.
• Layouts range from simple to complex, multi-layer PCBs containing analog, digital, RF, and power components.
• Liaise with PCB vendors to select materials, stack-ups, impedance specs, DFx rulesets, and assembly requirements.
• Create and manage PCB documentation including fabrication and assembly packages.
• Collaborate in a team environment across engineering disciplines.
