Job summary

Amphenol Corporation's Amphenol Communications Solutions is seeking a Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Designer for our Nashua, NH site. You will create and revise PCB production drawings, apply dimensional tolerancing, and ensure manufacturability of high-speed interconnect assemblies.

You will collaborate with Electrical, Mechanical, and Process Engineering teams, maintain organized file systems for drawings, and update engineering standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent; or six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Additional skills include technical capacity, communication proficiency, problem solving/analysis and the ability to collaborate as a member of a team
• ECAD/MCAD experience required

Responsibilities

• Use computer assisted design/drafting for Printed Circuit Boards (PCB)
• Create and revise production drawings (detail and assembly drawings)
• Utilize knowledge of dimensional tolerancing, PCB manufacturing capabilities, and design for manufacturing checks
• Resolve technical responses from PCB manufacturing deviations
• Update Customer Application notes and Engineering Standards
• Sets up and maintain an organized file system for production drawings
• Communicate with Electrical, Mechanical, and Process Engineering regarding new and revised designs
