Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), a division of Amphenol Corporation, is seeking a Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Designer for the Nashua, NH location. The role focuses on CAD drafting, production drawings, and close collaboration with electrical and mechanical teams.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree or related experience, with ECAD/MCAD proficiency and strong problem-solving skills to support manufacturing and design standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent; or six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Additional skills include technical capacity, communication proficiency, problem solving/analysis and the ability to collaborate as a member of a team
• ECAD/MCAD experience required

Responsibilities

• Use computer assisted design/drafting for Printed Circuit Boards (PCB)
• Create and revise production drawings (detail and assembly drawings)
• Utilize knowledge of dimensional tolerancing, PCB manufacturing capabilities, and design for manufacturing checks
• Resolve technical responses from PCB manufacturing deviations
• Update Customer Application notes and Engineering Standards
• Sets up and maintain an organized file system for production drawings
• Communicate with Electrical, Mechanical, and Process Engineering regarding new and revised designs
