Amphenol Corporation's High Speed Products Group is seeking a Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Designer to join our Valley Green, PA team. You will use CAD tools to create and revise PCB layouts and production drawings, ensuring designs meet manufacturing requirements and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree or equivalent and experience with Cadence Allegro. You will collaborate with Electrical, Mechanical, and Process Engineering to resolve design issues and document

Competenze

• Two-year degree or equivalent in engineering or related field.
• Familiarity with CAD and PCB layout.
• Experience with Cadence Allegro required.

• Use CAD tools to create and revise PCB layout drawings.
• Create and revise production detail and assembly drawings.

Position: Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Designer

Location: Valley Green, PA

Amphenol High Speed Products Group is the market leader for high speed, high bandwidth electrical connectors for the Telecom/Datacom market (Mobile Networks, Storage, Servers, Routers, Switches, etc.). Our products help to enable the electronics revolution and remain a key enabler for all the major Tier 1 OEMs globally. Our global headquarters are located in Nashua, NH and we have design, sales and manufacturing locations globally. We are currently seeking a Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Designer to join our team. The position will be located in Valley Green (Etters), PA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Use computer assisted design/drafting for Printed Circuit Boards (PCB)
• Create and revise production drawings (detail and assembly drawings)
• Utilize knowledge of dimensional tolerancing, PCB manufacturing capabilities, and design for manufacturing checks
• Resolve technical responses from PCB manufacturing deviations
• Update Customer Application notes and Engineering Standards
• Sets up and maintain an organized file system for production drawings
• Communicate with Electrical, Mechanical, and Process Engineering regarding new and revised designs

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate degree or equivalent; or six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Additional skills include technical capacity, communication proficiency, problem solving/analysis and the ability to collaborate as a member of a team
• Experience with Cadence Allegrorequired
