Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions, a division of Amphenol Corporation, is seeking an Application Development Engineer in Nashua, NH. You will lead design and development of high-speed connectors and cable assemblies that meet customer requirements and manufacturing constraints.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, translate requirements into concepts, and support product qualification, testing, and documentation throughout the life cycle.

Qualifications

• Experience in product development/design is required.
• Experience designing and developing high-speed connectors and cable assemblies.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Full technical responsibility for planning, organizing, and conducting technical projects related to connectors and cable systems.
• Work with customers and management to develop custom products and ensure requirements are met.
• Create documents defining products: drawings, BOMs, and manufacturing processes.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to meet cost targets and schedules.
• Provide product cost data and participate in design verifications and testing.
• Support sales/marketing with technical training and customer visits.
