Job summary

SpaceX seeks a Chemical Lab Analyst (Starlink PCB) to support chemical analysis and testing in a manufacturing lab environment. You will perform chemical analyses, run reliability tests, and assist in developing procedures for PCB production lines, collaborating with engineers and leadership to improve yield and quality.

The role involves safety-focused work with hazardous chemicals, 5S discipline, and cross-training on microsection analysis, with potential shift changes as production demands

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalency required; technical training encouraged.
  • Associate degree or better in STEM with lab experience preferred.
  • Experience with wet chemistry, titrations, photometry, and electrochemical analyses is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Execute test methods and perform chemical analysis to support PCB production lines.
  • Partner with engineers to develop and document test procedures.
  • Recommend improvements to lab processes to reduce cost and downtime and increase yield.
  • Provide feedback on failure modes and support root-cause analysis.
