Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Chemical Lab Analyst to support Starlink PCB manufacturing in a fast-paced lab environment. You will perform chemical analyses, run reliability tests, and work with engineers to optimize processes for yield and cost control.

The role requires hands-on experience in chemical testing, wet chemistry, and PCB QC, with the ability to handle hazardous materials and follow 5S safety standards in a production setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency
• 1+ years hands-on chemical testing or Associate's degree
• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a STEM field (preferred)
• Experience in wet chemistry lab and PCB-related analyses

Responsibilities

• Execute test methods and chemical analysis for PCB production lines
• Develop and document test procedures with engineers
• Improve lab processes to reduce cost and downtime and increase yield
• Provide feedback on failure modes and assist root cause analysis
• Perform start-up/shutdown of lab equipment and calibration
• Maintain equipment, schedule preventive maintenance, and safety procedures
• Read and interpret technical documents and maintain 5S standards
• Cross-train on microsection analysis
