Job summary

SpaceX seeks a PCB Chemical Lab Technician to support printed circuit board manufacturing in the Starlink factory. This hands-on role performs chemical analyses and reliability testing, while meeting outputs and quality goals.

Qualifications

• 1+ years hands-on chemical testing or an Associate's degree.

Responsibilities

• Execute test methods and perform chemical analysis to support PCB production lines.
• Partner with engineers to develop and document test procedures.
• Recommend improvements to lab processes to reduce cost and downtime and increase yield.
• Provide feedback on failure modes and support root cause analysis.
• Operate start-up/shutdown procedures for lab equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and calibration of equipment.
• Troubleshoot at first level and relay insights to maintenance and engineering.
• Maintain and calibrate lab equipment and tools.
• Clean chemical processing equipment and tools.
• Maintain inventory of consumables.
• Ensure chemical safety and proper handling and transport.
• Read and follow technical documents; uphold 5S in the workspace.
• Cross-train on microsection analysis.
