Job summary

PeerStar is seeking a PCB Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) to support individuals facing mental health challenges. You will leverage your lived experience to provide hope, understanding, and empowerment through 1:1 peer support across Pennsylvania.

Role options include full-time and part-time. The team values authenticity, reliability, and the ability to document care using an iPad. A valid driver's license and transportation are required to reach clients in various counties.

Qualifications

• Must have an active CPS certification through the PCB.
• Must attest to having a mental health diagnosis and recovery progress.
• 18 years of age or older.
• 6 months of consecutive work or volunteer experience; or 12 months in last 3 years.
• Ability to use iPad for documentation.
• Driver's license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Must have an active Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) certification through the Pennsylvania Certification Board (PCB).
• Must be able to attest to having a mental health diagnosis and have reached a point in their recovery pathway where they can positively support others in similar situations
• Eighteen (18) years of age and older.
• Must have maintained 6 months of consecutive employment or volunteer work experience; OR within the last three (3) years, have maintained at least 12 months of successful full or part-time paid or volunteer work experience.
• Ability to use iPad for documentation.
• Must have a driver's license and reliable transportation.
