Job summary

Pro-Active Engineering is seeking a General Production Operator to assist with the assembly of printed circuit boards. The role involves hand insertion of components, wire trimming, board testing, box build, and cleaning, while following safety and process documentation.

Candidate should be able to read IPC guidelines, work efficiently in a manufacturing setting, and maintain quality through careful inspection and labeling of boards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in fast-paced manufacturing preferred.
• Knowledge of IPC and electronic components beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Follow assembly process documentation to meet requirements.
• Manually insert through-hole components per IPC Class 2.
• Prepare wires, leads, and components for operations.
• Program and test circuit boards and perform box build assembly.
• Label, count, and inspect boards for defects.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and proper supplies.
