Job summary

Pro-Active Engineering, LLC, based in Sun Prairie, WI, is seeking a General Production/Assembly Operator - Electronics to join its PCB assembly team. The role involves hand insertion of electronic components, wire trimming, testing boards, and box build assembly in a fast-paced environment.

Essential duties include following IPC Class 2 guidelines, labeling boards, and maintaining a clean, safe work area. A high school diploma or GED is required, with preference for IPC knowledge and

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Experience in fast-paced manufacturing environment preferred.
• Knowledge of IPC standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow internal assembly process documentation ensuring product meets internal, customer, and regulatory requirements.
• Separate printed circuit boards from production panels.
• Manually insert through-hole components in accordance with IPC Class 2 Standards.
• Prepare wires and leads through cutting, clipping, and tinning processes.
• Prep raw components for secondary operations.
• Program and functionally test circuit boards; package and box assemblies for shipping.
