Job summary

Benchmark in Rochester, MN is seeking a PCB assembler to join our manufacturing team. You will assemble PCBs and related electronic components, following prints and process sheets, with attention to quality and safety in a fast-paced environment.

The role offers full-time hours, shift 2, and opportunities to learn, grow, and mentor others while contributing to high-precision assemblies used across aerospace, medical, and industrial applications.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of hardware and/or simple optics assembly experience.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic math.
• Able to use hand tools and related devices for PCB assembly.
• Willing to learn PCB assembly tasks and cross-train.

Responsibilities

• Reads and follows assembly prints, work instructions, drawings, procedures and specifications used in the manufacturing of PCBs.
• Identifies workmanship and material defects and may suggest changes to improve operations.
• Performs tasks with care, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Assembles PCBs, components, and modules from samples and process sheets.
• Maintains accurate material control within the work area.
• Performs self-inspection of work in the immediate working unit.
• Provides timely feedback to other operations and support engineering.
• Follows and maintains accurate process documentation.
• Assembles PCBs of intermediate complexity.
• May use a variety of tools to perform tasks.
• Serves as a mentor to lesser skilled employees.
