Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 1+ years in hardware/ optics assembly
• Ability to read, write and perform basic math
• Ability to use hand tools to manufacture PCBs and other electronic assemblies

Responsibilities

• Reads and follows assembly prints, work instructions, drawings, procedures and specifications used in the manufacturing of PCBs
• Identifies by sight workmanship and material defects in touch-up and assembly areas and may suggest basic changes to work instructions
• Performs tasks with a high degree of care and attention to details while maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Assembles electronic components, assemblies, and modules from samples, visual aids, wiring lists and process sheets
• Maintains accurate material control within the work area
• Performs inspection of own work in the immediate working unit
• Follows and maintains accurate process documentation
• Assemble PCBs of an intermediate complexity
• May use a variety of tools to perform tasks
• Serve as a mentor to lesser skilled employees
