Qualified candidates have a high school diploma and 1+ years in hardware or optics assembly, with the ability to read, write, and perform basic math. The position is safety-sensitive and requires overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 1+ years of hardware/ optics assembly experience.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic math.
• Ability to use hand tools and devices to manufacture PCBs and assemblies.
• Ability to learn and master PCB assembly tasks.
• Ability to identify electronic components.
• Ability to identify solder non-conformance and correct them.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work with and around chemicals used in PCB manufacturing.
• Willingness to cross-train in other areas and work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Reads and follows PCB assembly prints, work instructions, drawings and specifications.
• Identify defects by sight and suggest basic improvements to work instructions.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment with attention to detail.
• Assemble PCBs, components, and modules from samples and process sheets.
• Maintain accurate material control within the work area.
• Inspect own work and provide feedback to operations and support engineering.
• Follow and maintain process documentation for consistency.
• Mentor less skilled employees when needed.
