Job summary

Intervala, LLC in Mount Pleasant, PA is seeking an Assembly Technician to build through-hole and surface mount PCB assemblies. You will place components on boards per documentation and quality guidelines, prep components, and assist with chassis assembly.

The role emphasizes high accuracy in a high-volume environment, reading blueprints, and following instructions. A HS diploma or GED is required with no or minimal experience.

Job Summary & Essential Functions

Build through-hole (THT) and surface mount (SMT) printed circuit board assemblies, placing components on boards per controlled parts lists, drawing documentation and quality workmanship guidelines.

• Cut and form (prep) components
• Perform manual placement of THT components
• Assemble chassis components using a variety of hardware
• Assemble electromechanical devices using a variety of hardware
• Recommend changes in documentation to ensure high quality results

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, job orders, specifications, drawings, schematics, process sheets, wiring diagrams, and small print
• Ability to perform component prep using hand tools and tooling
• Ability to work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail to produce quality results
• Ability to work in a high volume, high detail work environment
• Ability to read, comprehend and follow instructions (including small print)
• Ability to manipulate and work with tedious and small parts

Required Experience & Education

• High School Diploma or GED
• No experience (previous manufacturing experience preferred
