We are seeking Personal Care Aides to join our team!

Hospital Details

VibraLife is a Rehabilitation Center and Senior Living Community located in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. It includes a short-term rehabilitation/skilled nursing facility and an assisted living unit. The facility is designed to provide comprehensive care and living needs post-injury or illness, delivering a fully integrated care continuum for patients and residents.

Responsibilities

The PCA is responsible for implementing resident services by assisting with activities of daily living, activity programs, housekeeping, and dining services. These services must be provided to ensure the health, welfare, safety, and independence of residents.

Required Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Two (2) years of experience as a Nurse Aide or equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of education.

Additional Qualifications/Skills

• Current, valid certification to practice as a Nursing Assistant preferred.
• CPR/First Aid training preferred.
• Previous healthcare experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy and ECG training preferred.
• Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
• Freedom from illegal drug use and effects of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
